Rhinoscripted a parametric model of the Centre Pompidou by Renzo Piano. Script generates a parametric building facade where the width, height and number of rooms on a floor were randomly generated. Script was run in Rhinoceros and the resulting models were rendered in 3DS Max.
This WebGL application was inspired by the Peter Cook drawing called “Sleek”. In the application, the camera (i.e. your perspective) moves linearly across the model. I created a touchpad sensor from conductive thread, fabric, Lilypad, Processing, and Arduino. Sensor data collected through Arduino was mapped to visual coordinates of Superman flying over a city landscape in Processing. Music composed through visual programming in Max 5. Script controls video frames and plays musical themes for two scenes: (1) people walking through the inter-connected tubes and (2) a streetside view of Walking City. This was made for a school assignment.
